Here is the thing, I have so many ideas about topics to post and what-not. And you might be surprised at how many drafts I have piled up right now. I just CAN NOT for the life of me find the time or the words to write them. Grrrr.

I absolutely LOVE my beige cable cardigan that I got many years ago from American Eagle. It keeps me warm, it's soooo comfortable, and it goes with absolutely everything else in my closet. 

Sadly, last week I lost my beloved sweater (insert sad face). And as of today, I still can not find it. Believe you-me, I have searched everywhere! It sounds silly, but I feel like I've lost a limb or something! 

So, in remembrance of my cable cardigan, I thought I would incorporate a similar one in the outfit for this weeks featured handmade jewelry.What IS today's featured jewelry you ask? You'll have to read on to find out!

Here is what it's all about: We take a 3/4" sterling silver disc and etch a sweet little heart or other shape, in the center. We can then personalize the rim of the charm with names or a short saying. Patina is added to the letters, the necklace is then polished and lightly brushed to give it a slight matte finish. You can further personalize your necklace with an optional message that can be added to the back of the charm.

Manufactured Earrings Vs. Handmade Earrings
Although I do own a pair or two manufactured earrings, that I really do love, this is still a 'no brainer' to me. Here is what it comes down to. Manufactured earrings are just that, they are mass produced and manufactured by machine in most cases. Plus, your odds of finding other ladies wearing the same pair you are is highly likely. Now, where is the fun is that?

If you'd rather not bump into someone wearing the exact same pair of earrings as you are, opt for a set of unique earrings that are handmade with LOVE. Many of these handmade earrings are crafted using quality materials such as natural gemstones, crystals and other findings. These unique earrings can take your look from simple to sophisticated and are also the perfect gift idea for any occasion or as gifts for friends and family.

I'm not going to lye here, I buy whatever earrings I like regardless of the style or what is supposed to look best on me. I have pretty little post earrings, dainty dangly earrings, hoop earrings, tear drop earrings...in all shapes, sizes and colors. The only style I can think of that I  don't own are those thread type earrings and that is simply because I just don't understand them.

There are tons of articles and blogs out there that you can read to find what style looks best for you face or skin color. None of which I personally agree with, but that's probably because I am in denial about it. I just want to buy what I like. However, I do have a few tips to share that I found to be true to me. 

• When selecting earrings, remember that they should set off the shape of your face.
•  Studs such as simple post earrings or pearls are great for longer face shapes.
• Long dangle earrings (my personal favorite) look best on round faces.
• If you have a square jaw, circle and hoop earrings work best. 
• Tear-drop earrings are perfect for women with heart-shaped faces. 
• If you have an oval face like me, you're in luck. I have found that any earring style will complement your face shape!
